[CIPN] Cambridge Interdisciplinary Performance Network

Robert is a PhD student at the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages. His research focuses on conceptions of realism in the work, especially the poetry, of Bertolt Brecht, drawing on the so-called embodied cognition paradigm in contemporary psychology as well as ordinary language philosophy, and the philosophy of perception. More broadly, he hopes to contribute to the dialogue between literary scholars and cognitive scientists, teasing out what can mutually be learned from their differing methodologies and outlooks.
